Covid screening of the health sector

Danesh Parsian Company, according to the community’s needs and to deal with Corona virus, designed, equipped, and launched various centers and services to our dear compatriots and medical staff safety.

Covid Screening Project

Covid screening was a significant mega-project that categorized the measures taken into two dimensions (general (related to people) and medical (related to medical staff and health care providers).

​Some of the measures that were designed and implemented in the field of health care providers are:

• 726 Hotline

• Establishment of selected 16 or 24-hour centers

• Introducing and following up the situation of hospitals

• Equipping and managing convalescent homes

• Development of integrated laboratory management network structure and provision of Covid-related services

• Screening of passengers from Nowruz 1399

Screening Service providers at 726

For the first time In Iran, the telephone number 726 was enforced to create security and calm for the people and to prevent possible abuses. The procedure was as follows: the audience was called at 726, and the screening was recorded and reviewed according to the statements of the audience.

Selected centers:

Unfortunately, during the covid pandemic, the number of non-covid patients referred to medical centers decreased sharply, hence the number of covid patients increased. This led to a greater prevalence of Covid related diseases and a greater need for medical intervention due to delays in seeing a physician. For this purpose, it was decided to set up 16- or 24-hour centers throughout the country for patients and provide services to patients. The activities of all selected centers can be viewed and reported online at sib.behdasht.gov.ir.

hospitals:

The era of the Covid pandemic had increased the risk of contracting the Covidvirus by attending medical and public facilities. Some high-risk patients needed to see doctor developed covid disease in hospitals and public clinics. This was a wake-up call for the country’s health system.

Therefore, selected hospitals were introduced to treat covid disease, and a role called “health liaison” was defined. The Integrated Health System (SIB) has provided effective measures in this regard: introduction of the hospital, covid disease status, hospitalization outcome (separated by discharge and need for home care, deceased).

Recoveries:

Due to the limited capacity of hospitals and the increase in the number of patients in need of care or hospitalization, by the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education of people who had completed their treatment and needed care during recovery, from other spaces It was operated as a “convalescent home.” Recovery centers were managed after the initial equipment in the integrated health system (SIB) with a health hospital liaison.

Labs:

Developing an integrated laboratory management network structure and providing covid-related services are other measures taken in the SIB system.

By enabling the definition and creation of laboratories in the network structure of universities and medical schools and the description of samples and skilled / laboratory expert maps, users can more quickly and accurately have access to the samples taken from the service recipients in the integrated health system (SIB) to register and also to record the results of samples taken by the expert/laboratory expert can be done.

All statistics related to the registered samples and the consequences of these tests can be viewed online for the relevant managers and experts.

Screening of Nowruz travelers 1399

The first Nowruz in the Covid pandemic coincided with severe travel restrictions so that the Covid virus would not spread and be controlled.

Therefore, the list of license plates of vehicles recorded by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development cameras on suburban roads; was given to the Ministry of Health and Medical Education along with the owner information.

This information was uploaded in the SIB system, and according to the national code of the car owner, a list was created for all health workers and health care providers in the whole country.

Then, according to the process designed in the SIB system, all car owners were contacted, and Covid-19 disease care forms were completed for the owner and all occupants of the car, and if there were any signs, further actions were taken.

If the vehicle was used by someone other than the owner, driver information was obtained and screening measures were applied to that person.
