Corona vaccine injection system

To support the national determination to deal with Covid, Danesh Parsian Company designed, planned, and also implemented several national programs, including the psychological self-assessment system, the National Corona Screening Program, guild registration system, vaccine registration system, vaccine toll registration system, and vaccination card registration system.

​Given the production, import, injection, and target population of the vaccine recipient, it was necessary to create a system for managing supply and demand in a comprehensive database.

For this purpose, the national registration system of the Covid-19 vaccine was created at Salamat.gov.ir, by observing the phases approved by the National Anti-Covid Headquarters

Due to the population of the audience in different age groups, all people were required to register in the system to be vaccinated and receive an appointment through the system. After registration, a text message will be sent to people that reminds people of the exact time and place to be vaccinated. The whole queuing process is done automatically according to the registered information by universities / medical schools. The national Covid-19 vaccine registration system also can report online, which will help in future decisions to achieve the desired goals.​

Features of Corona vaccine injection system in the health system:

Due to the limited inventory of Corona vaccine and to prevent chaos and crowded vaccine injection queues, the national vaccine injection queuing system was designed and launched. The National Vaccine Scheduling System allows health care network leaders to determine the capacity of the cumulative corona vaccination base based on the number of vaccines available to them. The system also uses the capacities and work calendar defined by the system administrator automatically invites people waiting to be vaccinated according to the location chosen by the client by sending an SMS.

Manual appointments for the first and second vaccinations:

The health system has created the possibility of making appointments manually and systematically and sending text messages to people to receive the first and second-time corona vaccine at Salamat.gov.ir. In this regard, the user can schedule a vaccine injection if they have the capacity to inject the corona vaccine manually.

Also, if the health network manager defines the work calendar, the system will automatically schedule and send SMS to the client according to the work calendar.

Vaccine injection mobile application:

The need to record information when vaccines are injected, and various issues such as communication system malfunctions (such as power outages, low internet speeds, etc.) prompted the Ministry of Health to find ways to protect people’s rights and speed up injection queues. For this purpose, Danesh Parsian Company significantly increased the registration speed by proposing the design and launch of a mobile application. In general, the time of providing the service became acceptable.

Using the mobile application, it is possible to quickly register the covid vaccine for the health staff without using a computer and register the vaccine request in both stages.

The latest version (1.0.8) of the mobile application of the Sib system can be downloaded from https://vaccineapp.dapa.ir and can be used for all mobile phones (including Android or iOS).

Installation of this application is mandatory for all people responsible for registering vaccines in vaccination databases affiliated with medical universities and using the Apple system.

In case of any problems or interruptions in computer registration, registrars must use the mobile application immediately. It is worth mentioning that the vaccine registration process in the mobile application is straightforward. The mobile camera can read the barcode on the national card and the two-dimensional barcode on the vaccine (UID) eliminating the need to enter information manually.
